What is a "Solutions" company?
According to an article written by Claude Singer
in a Public Relations Society of America publication, a "solutions"
company needs three key ingredients:
- People. One
prerequisite to being a "solutions" organization is good, smart people
who know their profession and are motivated to help clients succeed.
- Culture.
Solving problems anywhere--around the office, at a factory, in a
cubicle — requires an environment of intellectual freedom and a
culture of curiosity.
- Achievement.
The "solutions" company must have a record of actually solving
something, of helping clients improve productivity and avoid trouble.
They must show evidence of achievement ... a list of references that
validates the claim.

What is Alessandrelli’s background?
Alessandrelli has in-depth experience in the
marketing and management fields, with proven skills in planning programs
from strategy on through completion and evaluation. He can analyze
situations, develop effective plans and positively assist company
efforts. He doesn’t have a "pat set of answers," but the expertise to
adapt to almost any situation and develop an effective management and/or
marketing strategy to achieve desired goals. He is results oriented and
believes in measuring efforts to objectively evaluate programs and
accomplishments. He’s an effective leader of people, having supervised
staffs and organizations for more than 30 years.
He is an adjunct professor in marketing at the
College of Business Administration at the University of Nevada, Reno.
Alessandrelli received his Bachelor’s degree in Rhetoric from the
University of California, Davis, and his Master’s degree in Journalism
with a Public Relations emphasis from UCLA.

career of achieving goals, from a successful Harrah's Tahoe Hotel
opening early in his career to leading the dramatic improvement of
Sierra Pacific Power Co. customer satisfaction numbers and many other
achievements during his almost two decades with this utility. He
developed a comprehensive marketing communications program for Hometown
Health which dramatically increased and retained members of this
regional health care provider. A self-starter, one of his strengths is
to accept a contract with little direction and put all the pieces in
place for a successful endeavor. He led Job Opportunities In Nevada
(JOIN) from a quasi-governmental entity to a private, non-profit agency.
He developed and ran the Reno Film Festival its first formative years
and created a marketing and outreach program for the northern Nevada
building trades.
Award-winning: four consecutive national "Effie"
awards for advertising effectiveness, a national IABC award for a
successful public affairs program, a national health care winner for an
employee communications plan, plus national awards for annual reports,
various advertising campaigns, named the utility industry's top
communications one year.

Active in
the community...
Alessandrelli is very active in the greater
Reno, Nevada community and is the chair of the KUNR-FM national public
radio Consumer Advisory Board and is on a number of educational
organizations such as Washoe County’s School to Careers and Council for
Career & Technical Education, among others. He has been the president of
the American Marketing Association, Reno Ad Club, the Reno Performing
Arts Assoc. and Washoe County Community Concert Assoc. He has been on
the Boards of the University of Nevada Cooperative Extension, Reno City
Arts & Culture Commission, Washoe County Airport Authority Art Advisory
Committee, the March of Dimes, the UNR Century Campaign Marketing
